Biographies:
Booshway Dave Guy has shooting muzzleloaders and rendezvousing for over 25
years. A partner in Dirk and Thistle Pewter Works, Dave and Sheila live in
Canton, Ohio. Dave has been a very active participant in the National
Rendezvous and Living History Foundation and served as one of the
organization's first delegates. He has also been the Booshway of the 2005
Old Northwest Territories Primitive Rendezvous; Trade Commissioner for the
2007 Old Northwest Territories Primitive Rendezvous as well as for the 1998
Eastern Primitive Rendezvous. Locally, Dave had been president, vice
president, range office and club representative for the Sand Creek Free
Trappers MLGC of Waynesburg. He is a current member and past cheif (VII) of
Clann Wolf, Celtic group. Dave is also active outside of the rendezvous
circuit acting as car club president and vice president of the Ohio Street
Rods, council as northern district representative, organizer of swapmeet and
gate crew for the Street Rod Nationals at Columbus, OH. Dave also served one
year terms as Trustee for Stark Antique Power Club and Brown Township
Shooting Club and is an active Beaver Lodge Member.
Scribe Sheila has extensive experience serving as scribe at the 2005 Old Northwest Territories Primitive Rendezvous, as both Dave's and Dirk and Thistle Pewter Works' official secretary and has also been secretary for Sand Creek Free Trappers MLGC of Waynesburg, their local street rod club and Stark County Federation Conservation. Sheila has been enjoying rendezvousing with Dave for 25 years and began shooting muzzleloaders about 20 years ago becoming a NMLRA range officer at the 2007 Old Northwest Territories Primitive Rendezvous. Sheila is also a member of Clann Wolf Celtic group.
Segundo or second in command Dan'l Cain has been involved with the National Rifle Association, the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association and the National Rendezvous and Living History Association for the past 30 years belonging to Kill-um-Buck Long Rifles, Killbuck, OH for over 27 years. Dan'l also served as Segundo of the 2005 Old Northwest Territories Primitive Rendezvous until being put out of commission by an unfortunate fall at the very start of the rendezvous which resulted in a severe broken ankle.
Clerk Lawrence "Louis the Puke" Cline as been rendezvousing since 1989 and has often served on staff of local Ohio smaller rendezvous and festivals. He has attended as many Eastern Primitive and Old Northwest Territory Primitive Rendezvous as he can and has become associated with Dan'l Cain in the popular two man sea song group Two Salth, but asks that not be held against him!
Gate
Captain (Bee-otch:-) Cathy Schweingruber went to Aurora, WV to visit her
first Eastern Primitive Rendezvous in 1994 and didn't want to leave. She now
rendezvous as often as she can attending both large and smaller events and
even killed her first skillet at the 2007 Old Northwest Territories
Primitive Rendezvous. Well known as one of the first people you'll see,
Cathy has been the gate captain for the 2005, 2006, 2007 Old Northwest
Territories Primitive Rendezvous as well as gate caption for the 2007
Eastern Primitive Rendezvous. Elected in June 2007 as National Rendezvous
and Living History Foundation Old Northwest Territories Primitive Rendezvous
Delegate, Cathy has many volunteer hours at each event she attends and often
works through the night counting coops.
Medical Officer Greg Leopold dove into re-enacting four short years ago, but
has already served as Segundo at the 2007 Old Northwest Territories
Primitive Rendezvous and he met his wife and became engaged at a local
rendezvous. Greg has been a captain/paramedic with Jackson Township Fire
Department since 1985, is a state certified EMT instructor and also teaches
CPR and First Aid.

Range Officer Ray Thompson has 15 years of law enforcement under his belt. Ray is the current range officer of the Brown Township Sportsmen Club, is a state certified instructor on 4-H shotgun and muzzleloader. Shooting both muzzleloader and trap since he was 16 years old, Ray is also proficient in pistol, rifle, shotgun, semi-automatics. Ray has taken and taught Ohio Department of Natural Resources classes, CCW classes and five years PPC Course.
Brenda
and Rick Seitz took charge of the camp store at both the 2005 and 2007 Old
Northwest Territories Primitive Rendezvous. Ensuring the camp is provisioned
with groceries and sundries to supply or restock those items forgotten by
campers, the Seitz's have been known to special order ice cream for those
hot, sweltering days of summer.
