Rules & Regulations for ONWTPR 2008
SET-UP REQUIREMENTS
Long-term campers, long term Sutlers and those packing in may set-up on the lower level (wooded area) of the site. Beautiful sites are available for trekkers’ camps for those who wish to pack in. For early set-up on June 25th & 26th there is no time limit for set-up or vehicle unloading. On Friday, June 27th, vehicles will be allowed into the lower site for 1 hour for unloading and then vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area. After Friday, June 27th no vehicles will be allowed to enter the lower level unless packed in until Saturday’s closing ceremonies. This will be strictly enforced.
Short-term campers and latecomers will set up on the upper level or the hay field. For early set-up on June 25th & 26th there is no time limit for set-up or vehicle unloading. Starting on Friday, June 27th there will be a 1 hour time limit for loading and unloading vehicles at which time vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area. All vehicles will park in the designated parking area within 1 hour of gate closing. There will be no camping permitted in the parking area. These rules will be strictly enforced.
Starting on Friday, June 27th everyone must be in primitive attire within ½ hour after canvas is up and at all times until Saturday’s closing ceremonies. Medallions will be required to enter the rendezvous AT ALL TIMES including entry at competitions.
Handicapped camping is available. Please call ahead if you may need accommodations other than flat land close to parking with handicap-equipped restroom. Please notify gate captain upon arrival for details.
Set-up: Pre-registered camps and traders: Wednesday, June 25th & Thursday, June 26th (no early set-up fees)
General set-up: Starting Friday, June 27th 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. each day (early set-up fees apply)

NOTICE TO ALL: It is the responsibility of dealers and possessors of FURS, CLAWS, FEATHERS, etc to confirm the compliance of goods with Ohio State and Federal laws. Contact the ODNR at (614) 265-6565. Ohio business license and collection of sales tax is Traders responsibility.
Attendance at a primitive event means: All clothing, lodges and accouterments must be in the period of 1640 through 1840 in North America. Absolutely no modern footwear and sunglasses of any kind, unless medically required. Period eyewear is encouraged for those wearing glasses. Eye and hearing protection is encouraged on the firing line only! All modern items (coolers, bottles, plastic, etc.) must be kept out of sight at all times. All photography equipment (cameras, camcorders, etc.) must be covered when not in use and NO flash photography. Cell phones should be kept out of sight at all times with ringer turned off.
